Regular round hoops often slip and wrinkle on long, narrow materials. This dedicated Belt Embroidery Hoop uses a rigid metal body and side-clamp design to keep belts, straps, collars and ribbons flat, centered and repeatable—ideal for karate belts, pet collars, sashes, bag handles and seat-belt style webbing. Tuned for Ricoma single-head & multi-head machines with the correct bracket/mount.

Key Benefits
- Quick setup: one-minute hooping with smooth side clamps—align, clamp, and stitch faster.
- Firm, even hold: clamp geometry spreads pressure, reducing slippage, wrinkles and puckering on narrow goods.
- Long stitch window: perfect for end-to-end names, logo sequences and continuous motifs on belts/ribbons.
- Material-ready: leather, nylon/poly webbing, cotton twill, ribbon and more (use proper needle & stabilizer).
- Machine-specific brackets: choose the correct bracket at checkout for your brand & series.
Belt Embroidery Hoop — Two Sizes for Belts, Straps & Collars
Choose the right belt embroidery hoop size for your workflow. Both frames use a side-clamp design to hold long, narrow materials flat and centered for crisp stitching. See dimensions below.

Best for short names, single logos and compact belt/pet-collar runs.

More room for end-to-end names, logo sequences and continuous motifs.

Quick Setup & Tips
- Remove hardware:Place hardware such as belt buckles and D-rings outside the window to prevent collisions and skipped stitches.
- Stabilizer:Use a thick tear-away or sticky cut-away adhesive; apply temporary spray adhesive if necessary to stabilize the webbing.
- Needles:75/11–80/12 is suitable for webbing/twill; 90/14 is more suitable for thicker leather (reduced density accordingly).
- Letter height: For textured webbing, a height of ≥ 5 mm (≈3/16") is recommended for better clarity.
- Test before production: Test the centerline and needle direction on scrap material before starting embroidery in batches.
FAQ
Q1: What's the difference between this and a regular round frame?
A1: A round frame applies uneven pressure on narrow materials, making them prone to shifting and wrinkling. This belt hoop's side clamps and long window ensure more stability, straightness, and speed on narrow and long materials.
Q2: Does it require a hooping station?
A2: Not necessary. A station can further increase speed for batch alignment, and single-piece customization can also be precisely positioned using the centerline and right-angle table edge.
Q3: Is it compatible with all Ricoma machines?
A3: You need to select the bracket/mount based on the machine model and arm length (different arm lengths and bracket shapes will affect the available travel). If you're unsure, please contact us for confirmation.
